About Hope of Glory
| |
Community - We are a group of people who have become deeply aware of God's love, acceptance and forgiveness as they have been revealed to us in Christ Jesus. We are an open and caring people seeking to grow spiritually and to empower one another through creative and meaningful worship, Christian nurturing and faith formation in order to manifest and share our faith constructively wherever we may be, under God's grace!
Relationship - We are people who feel it is very important to reach out to people with the hope of the Gospel that brought us to a relationship with our God. II Corinthians 5:18 “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”.
Becoming like our Master - We are a people on a journey. We haven't arrived yet, but this is who we are striving to be - who we hope to become. We are people who have experienced His amazing love for us and the whole world. Therefore, we have been called to love Him in return.
Vibrant - We are people of purpose and energy who have come to the realisation that God has given us everything we need to do what He has called us to do. We are people who have experienced the joy and peace of knowing Him as our dearest Friend. Hence, we gladly and lovingly encourage others to know Him too.
Missioners - We do not exist as a church for ourselves. We exist to be part of God's God's desire for the world to come true.
Faith - We strive to be formed spiritually. We want to know God and become who God has created us to be. Everything we do is rooted in our connection with Christ.
We are people who offer praises to an awesome God who is worthy of all honour and glory. We feel honoured to serve as part of a body that move forward in the things of God.
Devotion - We are devoted to the Biblical principle that every member is a minister. Therefore we offer meaningful opportunities for Christian formation aimed at identifying one's unique God-given gifts, and using them to follow Christ's model of helping others and being a caretaker of God's creation.
