We have a witness in our hearts that the messages, the sharing, and the fellowship during the Summit will ultimately draw us progressively closer to our loving Saviour – Jesus Christ.
One of the foundational truths we must persistently build our lives upon as believers is that we are chosen by God. The reality is that we are not an accident, God intentionally chose us for Himself so that through us, many will see His goodness, His greatness, and His holiness.
Well-beloved of God, we should no longer allow the devil to deceive us that we are just ordinary and that there is nothing special about us. No! God deliberately ordained us to fulfil His purpose here on earth, and we must consciously and constantly walk in the reality of this truth, to accomplish all that God has purposed for our lives.
Right believing is a determining factor for right living. When we know that we are chosen, accepted in the Beloved, loved by God, and that He is on our side, it will empower and strengthen us to go out into the world and shine our lights for our Maker.
These are not the days to walk around ignorant of who we are but to walk in the consciousness and understanding of the truth of who we are in Christ Jesus – His chosen ones, and a new creation in Christ. We are chosen! The chosen are peculiar, they are royalty, and they are more than a conqueror. They are bold and strong in the Lord; they are courageous to appropriate to themselves all that had been made available in Christ.
The Bible says in John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” Understanding and affirming that God has chosen us will remain a hard concept and a myth, rather than a reality, to as many that are yet to fulfil John 3:3. But as many that will gain mastery over this mystery, will revel in God’s love, and become participators of His blessedness.
During this Year’s Annual Glory Summit, themed: “You are God’s Chosen Ones” by His grace, we shall be discussing: Chosen in Christ; Blessings of being chosen; Wonders of being chosen; and Chosen for God’s eternal purpose.
We offer praises, adorations, and thanksgiving to the Lord for all the speakers, whom God has anointed to speak and to reveal His mind at the Summit. May we be blessed as we listen to them. Amen.
